This is a JVA Event and open to all teams regardless of affiliation (JVA, USAV, AAU). All teams must have a JVA Participant Release of Liability Form and a Medical Release/Waiver Form from any governing body (JVA, USAV, AAU).
Acceptance
Acceptance into a Heartland Events tournament is first come, first served once all registration requirements are completed and is always contingent on space availability. To be accepted into a tournament, teams must satisfy all of the following criteria:

Once a division is full, teams not accepted will be placed on a waiting list in order of registration and payment received. Note – registration does not guarantee acceptance.

DAY 1
Format- Four (4) team pools. Pool play will be 2 games rally scoring 25 points with a 27-point cap.
If the two teams split their sets the team with the most favorable point differently will be awarded the match.
If the two teams split their sets and the scores of the sets are the same resulting in a 0 point differential, an additional point would need to be played at the end of the second game.
Example: Team A wins set one 25-22, Team B wins set two 25-22, an additional point should be played in game two.

Matches will be two out of three games to 25 pt with a 27-point cap. If a deciding game is needed it will be 15-point rally scoring, DO NOT switch at 8 points
Playoff Information
All teams advance to a 4 team Playoff Division.
A playoff match is two out of three games to 25 pt., no cap. If a deciding game is needed it will be 15-point rally scoring, DO NOT switch at 8 points and no cap.
Awards will be medals for 1st and 2nd place teams for all playoff divisions.

Tournament Registration Fee Refund Policy
If a team wishes to withdraw from a tournament, the following Refund Schedule will apply:
• Withdraw 4 weeks or more prior to the tournament – Refund of full registration fee less $20 non-refundable deposit
• Withdraw 14-27 days prior to the tournament – Refund of ½ registration fee less $20 non-refundable deposit
• Withdraw 0-13 days prior to the tournament – No Refund
In the unlikely event that Heartland Events must cancel a tournament due to unforeseen circumstances, or the facility becomes unavailable and an acceptable replacement site cannot be secured, registered/paid teams will receive a refund based on the situation. Remedies are at the discretion of Heartland Events and may include a full refund, partial refund, credit toward another Heartland Event’s tournament or no refund depending on the situation.
• The refund amount may be determined by subtracting any unrecoverable tournament costs from tournament registration income first, then refunding the remainder of income on a proportional basis to any teams who have paid the tournament registration fee.
Please note – convenience fees cannot be refunded at any time.
Admission Fee PER DAY: Online @ VANCO: $4.00 Adults, $3.00 Students (K-College), $3.00 Seniors (60 & older). Day of Tournament: Cash only $5.00 for everyone.
